Literacy & Math Stocking Stuffers

As we are enjoying the longer nights and cooler days,  I want to share some literacy and math stocking stuffer ideas.  The stores are full of inexpensive stockings at this time to use as centers.  Look below at different items that can be placed in your centers.

1.  Create a matching game.  Students take turns placing fact family cards, words that begin with a letter sound, etc. in stockings.
2.  Use the stockings to review.  As students learn a concept, they can place their cards inside each stocking.
3.  Add flashcards.  Each stocking can review a different concept.
