Mini Chalkboard Tutorial

This step-by-step tutorial shows how to make a chalkboard using objects that you already have in your classroom

Materials Needed
You will need 1 sheet of black construction paper.
4 popsicle sticks
A hot glue gun with glue sticks
Scissors

Step 1:  Glue your popsicle sticks on top of the construction paper.

Step 2:  Cut off the excess black paper or measure to fit the sticks.

Step 3:  Carefully, press down firmly.  The glue is very hot. Regular school glue can be used instead.

The mini slates can be used in reading and math stations.  I use a piece of paper towel to wipe off the chalk.  (Don't use chalk malkers)
